Any one else love to decorate for the holidays with their crochet makes?
I love to decorate my house, and I love crochet, so always try to find ways to incorporate the two.
These crochet Welcome Pillows have been a favorite for around-the-year holiday decorating.
DESCRIPTION
Their are currently 12 different Welcome Icons to choose from, and all of them have full written patterns as well as easy-to-read charts.
You can do the two recommended panels that are included, or you can mix and match your holidays!
Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Spring, Back to School, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day are some of the holidays included. Any you would like me to add?
These pillows are considered an intermediate pattern because of the multiple colors.
I do tapestry crochet for nearly the whole pillow. I will have a few bobbins of black on either side of the witch hat/leaf/pumpkin/etc design and carry the black throughout the words. I also only have one strand of my main color and carried that throughout the project.
If you would like to see my new YouTube video showing 3 Common Mistakes in Tapestry Crochet, view the video below, or by clicking HERE.
I also have a full video showing how to make the Summer Welcome Pillow.
You can view that video HERE, which will show you the basics to get you started on any of the Welcome Pillows.
PATTERNS
Below are the 12 different designs. Mix and match the front and back panels as you please!
Will you mix and match to make your favorite holidays? Let me know in the comments!
If you are interested in getting the easy-to-read chart for both sides of the pillow plus the written instructions, you can purchase the ad-free, printable PDF in my shop, Etsy, or Ravelry.
