Best part of this design? Not only does the FRONT say “WELCOME” but the BACK of the pillow says “WELCOME” with the ‘o’ as a PUMPKIN!

DESCRIPTION
As I was thinking about ways to incorporate more crochet decorations into my home decor, I came across the idea of making a pillow that was double-sided. It would be a perfect way to incorporate more crochet pieces, but also cut down on the amount of seasonal decorations.
THE YARN
For this blanket, I used #4 worsted weight yarn. I chose I Love this Yarn from Hobby Lobby in the colors “white”, “black”, and “soft blue”. The pillow does not use much of the contrasting colors, so it is a great way to use up some of your scraps laying around!
DIFFICULTY
This pillow is made by using intarsia and tapestry crochet techniques, so it is an intermediate pattern.

Fasten off, weave in ends.
Some find it easier to follow the chart rather the written text.
Some important notes about the chart:
- The chart does not include the beginning ch 69.
- You will be making this from bottom up.
- Each row of the chart alternates between right to left/left to right.
- The right-hand side of the chart has odd numbers (RS) and the left side has even numbers (WS).

ASSEMBLY
Step 1: Hold Front and Back with RS together. You May want to pin Front and Back together to match panels up.
Step 2: Using the MC, *sc around first edge, ch 1 at corner*, rep for 3 sides leaving bottom of pillow open.
Step 3: Flip pillow RS out.
Step 4: Insert pillow form.
Step 5: Whit st rem side closed. You may want to pin Front and Back together.
Fasten off. Weave in yarn ends.
