You ready for a FREE crochet pattern? I am very excited to share with you this simple, beginner friendly Fourth of July crochet pattern.
Introducing the FREEDOM PILLOW!

The 4th of July really snuck up on me this year, but I was still determined to make some crochet home decor patterns to celebrate! Simple stitches are used throughout the pillow, and a modified Lazy Daisy stitch is used to create the stars on the pillow.
To make this pillow, you will need-

Rows 2-56: ch 1, sc across, turn (74 sts)
Row 57: ch 1, sc across (74 sts)

STARS
You will be making 23 stars. For a chart of suggestions where the center of the star should start, you can purchase the Freedom Pillow crochet pattern.
Repeat Steps 1-6 for all stars.
Step 1: Cut 18” of CC1
Step 2: Insert needle from back to front
Step 3: Insert the needle back down where it just came up. Do not pull the thread all the way through; leave a loop.
Step 4: Insert the needle up at the desired length that you want your star to be. Make sure your needle is coming up inside the loop. Pull snug.
Step 5: Insert your needle down on the outside of your loop. Make your stitch fairly close to where it came up on step 4.
Step 6: To start the next star appendage, bring your needle up in the center of your star and follow steps 3 – 5 again.
Fasten off.
